Our belief is that everyone has a role in protecting the planet, and we work hard to walk the walk and be a leader in sustainable business practices. From our production facility, to our headquarters, to our company culture, reducing our impact is integral to our everyday operations.

Our Production Facility

The primary facility that produces Coconut Bliss has undergone a two-step process to increase its energy efficiency and decrease its environmental impact. The first step involved capturing energy through solar panels spanning the entire roof of the warehouse. After that, measures were taken to reduce energy usage such as energy efficient LED lighting, motion sensors, and a Dissolved Air Flotation unit that makes waste water cleaner, which eases operations at the City’s water treatment facility.

Our Headquarters

In 2016, we moved to a new headquarters in a renovated banquet hall designed to be comfortable and inspiring while also boasting the latest sustainability features. Not only is the building certified LEED GOLD, but also our office is powered through a local Green Power program, and we are members of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, through which we purchase Water Restoration Credits.

Our Culture

Beyond our buildings, our company culture values a lifestyle of sustainability for our employees. That’s why everyone is trained on current recycling, composting, and waste stream sorting practices during onboarding and orientation. These initiatives increase diversion rates at our office, and the practices spread to homes and the greater community.

 Our Products

In 2018, we underwent a significant packaging redesign that included a shift to completely sustainable packaging for our pints. On top of that, we are a member of the Sustainable Food Trade Association and publish an annual sustainability report to track our efforts, highlight our successes and opportunities, and practice transparency with our consumers.
