We Are Temporarily Discontinuing 4 Flavors

If you regularly follow this blog (All Thai'd Up in Bliss & Where's My Bliss?) then you know already that we’ve had issues with our supply of coconut milk. Our main supplier, a family farm in Thailand, suffered the worst drought in twenty years this past season. Sadly, this shortage is affecting our ability to maintain stock on all of our flavors throughout the summer months.

To alleviate the impact we have decided to temporarily discontinue four of our pint flavors through the next six months. We will not be making our Pineapple Coconut, Naked Almond Fudge, Cappuccino, or Chocolate Peanut Butter. This will allow us to focus on keeping consistent stock of the other 10 flavors we have and hopefully eliminate out of stock issues and frustration for store buyers.  We plan to have the discontinued flavors available by the first of December again. Additionally, we have delayed the Canadian release of the four new flavors until Spring of 2012.

The good news is that the coconut milk is now flowing strong.  We are receiving new shipments of Coconut Milk weekly, and are producing more pints and bars as much and often as we can.  While this is positive, we unfortunately are still unable at this point to catch up since we can’t make enough Coconut Bliss to keep up with summer demands. We are hopeful that we will be back in the flow to all of you by December and all flavors will be available again.

Thank you for your patience and support!

~Marc

Pineapple Coconut is my

Pineapple Coconut is my FAVORITE flavor! It was my favorite flavor long ago when it was "Pina Colada" and I was so sad that it was discontinued. I didn't even know it was back until I saw it on sale recently. I was absolutely delighted. It is only being discontinued TEMPORARILY, right? There is nothing better!

It's all good!

Yes our coconut milk shortage is over and all of our flavors have been available since March,  including the Pineapple Coconut :)

Thanks for the update

Just about to publish a post of something really yummy I did with Coconut Bliss, good to know the milk is flowing again. Keep us connected to your supplier issues. Rachel @ Vampituity, an Improvised Perspective on Our World
