New Year, New Update!

Welcome 2012!  This new year comes to us full of potential, full of abundance.  We are looking forward to a year of keeping the bliss flowing so that you can keep your freezer stocked with delicious Coconut Bliss!  Happily, all of our flavors will be back on store shelves at the beginning of March.  If you don't see your favorite flavor, we encourage you to ask your store to bring it back into stock. Thank you so much for your continued support and love!

We can celebrate now as the drought has finally ended for our organic coconut milk supplier in Thailand!  Kim, Marc and Andrea of the Bliss team made it over to Thailand recently for a tour of the family-owned organic coconut plantation and coconut milk facility.  They learned about the seasons and cycles of growing the 800 acres of organic Mawa coconut trees, a hybrid of Malaysia Yellow Dwarf and West African Tall, and how the trees and fruit are affected by a drought.  The groves are amazingly well-managed and beautifully lush with vegetation and life.  One example of the effectiveness of the organic methods is their use of natural prey-predator dynamics for insect control.  We look forward to showing you some video highlights of the trip in our next newsletter.

The challenges of 2011 have evolved our understanding and relationship with the source of our beautiful, organic coconut milk, as well as all of our ingredients.  We marvel at the ebb and flow of nature’s cycles.  This new respect and attention to the source makes us confident that Coconut Bliss will be on your freezer shelves through 2012 and for years, and years to come.
