A few weekends ago my partner Michael & I headed up to Portland for the North American Organic Brewers Festival. There was plenty of good music, local food vendors, and excellent organic beers from all over the country. My favorite was another Eugene based business, Oakshire Brewery's Mud Puddle 100% Organic Chocolate Porter....it was most excellent when paired with a big, fat, scoop of Vanilla Island Coconut Bliss...

We had a great time getting to hang out with the other vendors, beer connoisseurs, and all the friendly folks who were out enjoying the festival. You can check out a video from one couple that I met at the festival, Jen and Aaron Pattap. They are honeymooners who are traveling and WWOOFing all over the U.S. and blogging about it. They made a great little video about the beer fest, and you can catch a brief interview with me about halfway through the video.

Thanks Portland for the awesome fest! We'll be at a ton more coming up- this weekend we'll have the Bliss Cart out at the Oregon Country Fair, followed by Emrg-N-See, then Mystic Garden Party, Faerieworlds, The Portland Bridge Festival, and Beloved.
