Every year, a few weeks before Thanksgiving, we like to host our own gathering, in the spirit of giving back and giving thanks. We call this little event A Night of Bliss.
We call upon our community members, fellow businesses, friends and family, and we throw a party. There is food, music, dancing, games and endless, (yes, I did say endless) Coconut Bliss ice cream sundaes.
Imagine a heaping bowl of your favorite flavor, or flavors, all decked out in vegan caramel, fudge, roasted nuts, goji berries, or whatever it is that brings you bliss. In a word, it is awesome.

You know that saying, “think globally, act locally”? Nothing illustrates those words more clearly than the 2012 Olympic Trials happening right here, right now in Eugene, Oregon.
Here in the lush Willamette Valley, we place great value on our local community and economy. We thrive on the seemingly limitless creative energy that manifests itself in so many different ways; from the dozens of local craft breweries to our historic Saturday market and an ever-evolving art scene. We are fortunate to call such a dynamic locale home.

The second weekend of July is quickly approaching, and everyone here at Bliss HQ is buzzing about getting ready for the Oregon Country Fair. This gathering has been happening just outside of our hometown of Eugene, Oregon for over 40 years. Coconut Bliss has had a presence since the company's humble beginnings in 2005 and the culture of the Oregon Country Fair is definitely a huge part of the culture here in our offices.
Luna had this to say about it: "The Country Fair was the initial motivation for me to jumpstart Coconut Bliss back in 2005, although I couldn't possibly imagine the ride this would be for all of us! The Fair has a way of bringing me back down to the roots of Coconut Bliss; sweetness, beauty, service, creativity, and family."

As you can guess, the staff of Coconut Bliss is very active outside of our 'Bliss-iverse' at the office. And when it's Summer in the Northwest, we do even more.
So we asked our staff what they did this Summer, and here are the responses we received...
