ProseI am an owner and practitioner of the Eastern Center for Complementary Medicine, a holistic medical clinic in Los Angeles utilizing a synergistic combination of Chinese and Western medicine, herbalism and clinical nutrition. We have been in practice for almost 10 years and see many patients who have the typical modern day chronic degenerative diseases like diabetes, hypoglycemia, arthritis, elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure, fatty liver, allergies and digestive disturbances. One of the most utilized services we offer that has a great impact on our patients lives is nutritional medicine. We are passionate about re-educating patients from the ground up how to eat, what to eat, and specific biochemical effects on health. We are successful in retraining patients to eat a diet that consists of whole, unprocessed foods that are low glycemic and nourishing. We often run food allergy tests on patients to identify and eliminate their food sources of inflammation and dairy shows up more often than not. Your product has completely changed so many of our patients lives. At the end of a long day, our patients want a treat that won't counteract their hard work and your products completely fulfill the criteria. Not only are they the most delicious ice creams we have ever tried, both dairy and non-dairy, but we know they are also making a positive impact on their health too! We have access to a huge amount of people down here in Los Angeles so a night of Bliss would be very well received!

My husband has an addiction to ice cream. Plain and simple. His grandmother used to give him a gigantic bowl of ice cream--and by no means was this an average bowl. Larger than a soup or cereal bowl, these bowls are now in my pantry and I use them as serving bowls for side dishes they're so large. As an adult now, a half a gallon tub of ice cream would barely last the weekend, especially when he would sometimes have a spoonful with breakfast and a little taste right after work. Things, however, have recently changed, as about 6 months ago he stopped drinking milk to see if it would reduce the "brain fog" he was experiencing. He barely remembered what I had said 30 minutes ago, and good luck with him recalling important details. His mother and I finally convinced him to commit to alternative milk for 6 weeks, especially after she discovered we were going through 2 gallons of milk every 10 days and I didn't touch the stuff. With the two women in his life being gluten free and dairy free he decided to commit to drinking Blue Diamond's Vanilla Almond Breeze. Now, 6 months later, his memory has improved significantly and he is wittier than ever. One day while having a gulp straight out of the carton, carton still in hand he said, "I love this stuff better than regular milk," but alas he's been missing his creamy freezer companion. I want to show him that he can once again take pleasure in a bowl of ice cream, just on a smaller scale. With his mom and younger brother in southern California and us in northern California, we would have an interactive web tasting (I know she can pickup some at her local store unless you would be so kind as to split the care package between our two homes). Our slogan: "Party in a Pint." Besides, good things can come in small packages. In addition, we would make it an episode of GFree TV, our gluten free product review show. 4 opinions from across the generations: one gluten free; one gluten free, dairy free; one autistic teenager; and one regular guy who just gave up milk. Sounds like a great show to me.

Several months ago i e-mailed to you requesting the store for bLISS in florida. You told me that you were"coming' and that your grandfather also lived in West Palm. Well I am a whole foods shopper and one day at the whole foods in Palm Beach Gardens there was a demonstration of BLISS!!!. I am in bliss with BLISS. So glad you kept your word. I am a fan of coconut and it's nutritional value. "Regualr" ice cream is not a friend of my digestive system, though i still went for it and paid a price the next day. Good luck to you and Luna and the "kid'. I have also e-mailed friends about BLISS!!!.

Coconut Bliss-my four year old son was conceived, grown, born, and nursed on Coconut Bliss. Now that I live in Maine and our coop just starting carrying one flavor, I tell everyone I meet about how great it is. Would love to have a party so they could taste all the flavors!

I love coconut bliss! It is the best ice cream in the world, and I want to share it with everyone I know!

We are also an organic processor and I like to see the ecological and sustainability benefits of an organic coconut ice cream. And it doesn't hurt that

What A night of Bliss in Westchester County, NY can mean to many to be surrounded by esteemed friends, patients, children and their families to gather and have all their expectations met during the evening and be introduced to and for some reacquainted with the delights of scrumptious, healthy ice cream made from the finest ingredients. For some it will be relieving childhood memories as they once again share in the delights of ice cream for years not being able to tolerate the conventional products; for others, it will be enlightening to have their taste buds introduced to flavorful desert w/o feeling the negative effects that casein, lactose and milk cause them. Coconut Bliss stands up to all the demands of the tongue and yet is so healthy for us all. The delight and glee in the childrens eyes will last forever in my mind and the minds of their parents. Life without ice cream is inconceivable for many and yet the little ones inflicted with autism and food allergies cannot comprehend that there really exists such an amazing taste like Coconut Bliss. Dreams will unfold before them. The impact of their dreams and now their reality will be seen in the lives of those that participated for they will leave with the tasteful experience and the knowledge of Coconut Bliss.

Still haven't been able to try your product. Your web site says it is sold by Healthy Horizons in De Pere Wisconsin. We were there two days ago and asked for Coconut Bliss and no one there had ever heard of it.
Scott R. NOTE: Our Coconut Bliss staff was able to redirect him to Terry Naturally in Green Bay to find Bliss. All is well. :)
Recipes, etc. :)A Coconut Love Story: Bliss & A Girl Reunited I love coconuts! I have had a love affair with this magic food my whole life. Coconuts and I go way back. True story: When I was a little kid my parents and I would drive around Maui in our red VW hippie van collecting coconuts. My dad would climb up the trees and mom would get on top of the van and catch those beauties as dad tossed them down. I'd lay back on my little bed in the van, made all cushy with indian fabrics and tie-dye galore, blissfully sipping away on the elixir of life. After a full day of coconut harvesting we would drive home (a bamboo platform with a blue tarp for a roof) singing songs, happy and sustained for with a van full of coconuts and familial love. Within the next few days we and our friends would feast on our coconut bounty and sing, dance and swim. Those were Joy-Full days! Today, some decades later and living in Arizona I sometimes deeply miss my tropical life, and especially coconuts. Yes, the desert does have its own majestic beauty and I have even taken to prickly pear harvesting (fruit that grow on cactus) but nothing in my world can replace the creamy deliciousness of nature's perfect food, the coconut. You could say I was strongly imprinted as a child dwelling in coconut land so no matter how long I live in the coconut-deprived desert, the desire for them is in my psyche and in my very cells (at least it feels like it!) Little dilemma: There are no coconut trees within at least several hundred miles of where I live. So imagine my surprise and excitement when one lazy day, the kind where you especially desire some sensory bliss, I discovered a fantastic little tub calling out to me from the freezer in the one room health food store of my little town. The freezer was crammed with all kinds of other goods, but from amongst the jumble of frozen breads, berry bags and those soy and rice wanabee ice creams that always left me desiring for the real thing, there was the long-lost friend I had been longing for: Coconut Bliss. Yes, it was presented in a slightly different form than the coconuts of my childhood but I recognized it immediately. It was like meeting a dear friend whom you haven't seen in ages at the airport. You know, how they glow apart from the masses of other people? That is a sure sign of love and as I have said, I love coconut! So with all this love welling up within me and the promise of bliss swirling my senses, I decided I needed to get one of each flavor. No holding back. This was going to be a reunion celebration, a travel back in time to the deliciousness of my childhood. When I got home I eagerly got the precious tubs out of the bag and full of reverence scooped one of each flavor into a big bowl. I could barely contain my excitement (this whole process was really bringing out my inner child-forget therapy heehee!) but I managed to stop for a nano-second to give thanks and then I took my first delectable spoonfull ... It was a spoonfull of bliss! And it took me right back to the pure joy of my childhood. So now, especially on dry desert days, I have a little ritual. I put on some good tunes with an island vibe and make myself a Coconut Bliss Banana Split (recipe below). It's not exactly a coconut off the tree, but then again my foodie senses (and sweet tooth) have evolved since those simple days! Thanks for reading my love story and if you feel so inspired you too can bring out your joy-full inner child with this deliciously decadent bliss inducing treat: Koali's Coconut Bliss Banana Split
Slice bananas lengthwise and arrange the 4 pieces in a big bowl or in a pretty banana spit dish. Put generous scoops of each Coconut Bliss flavor on top. Toppings:
Put all ingredients in a blender and process, adding water, until it is the consistency of whipped cream. Add more agave if you desire it sweeter. Put fluffy dollops of the whipped cream over Coconut Bliss.
Blend together until cacao powder dissolves and it's beautiful and shiny. Drizzle this sauce all over in creative patterns. *This recipe looks and tastes much better when made and eaten "messy/playful style" ... find out what that means to you ;)
