Need a reboot for your diet? This blood orange and spirulina smoothie bowl is packed full of superfoods like goji berries, baobab powder and macadamia nuts. Whether it’s the first warm days of Spring or a Midsummer celebration, this recipe is always in season.

Coconut Bliss Spring Forward Smoothie

Ingredients (use organic whenever possible)

Layer 1 – Orange Banana
1 pint Coconut Bliss Vanilla Island
4 ounces blood orange juice, freshly squeezed
1 banana, frozen
¼ cup goji berries
2 ounces pomegranate juice

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.

Layer 2 – Macadamia Spirulina
1 pint Coconut Bliss Naked Coconut
½ cup macadamia nuts
1 teaspoon baobab powder
6 ounces coconut water
1 teaspoon spirulina

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.

Assembly:
Pour Layer 2 into a wide, shallow bowl. Pour Layer 1 into the center of Layer 2. Garnish with citrus segments, shredded coconut, or macadamia nuts.
