All but 3 of our flavors are certified kosher pareve
A kosher certification symbol (called a hechsher) indicates that the food has been grown, harvested and prepared in accordance with Kashrut, a set of strict dietary laws. Kosher Pareve is specifically for products that are free of all dairy ingredients. Since Coconut Bliss is dairy-free, our products that carry the kosher symbol are certified kosher pareve.
OK Kosher, based in Brooklyn, NY certifies our products. They have been in business since 1935 and provide one of the most trusted Kosher certifications in the nation. Look for their “O K” symbol indicating products that are dairy-free and certified for Jewish dietary requirements.
All but 18 of our 23 flavors carry this certification. The handful of products that are not Kosher certified are: Chocolate Walnut Brownie, Ginger Cookie + Caramel, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and our 2 Cookies Sandwiches. The reason that these flavors are not kosher certified is that we’ve had difficulty sourcing certified-kosher gluten-free cookies. We are always looking for ways to make all of our products kosher, and we are making progress.
