A kosher certification symbol (called a hechsher) indicates that the food has been grown, harvested and prepared in accordance with Kashrut, a set of strict dietary laws. Kosher Pareve is specifically for products that are free of all dairy ingredients. Since Coconut Bliss is dairy-free, our products that carry the kosher symbol are certified kosher pareve.
Kehilla Kosher, based in Los Angeles, California, has been certifying our products since Coconut Bliss first came on the market in 2005. They have been in business for over 40 years and provide one of the most trusted Kosher certifications in the nation. Look for their “Heart K” symbol indicating products that are dairy-free and certified for Jewish dietary requirements.
All but 3 of our flavors, Chocolate Walnut Brownie, Ginger Cookie Caramel and Chocolate Chip Cookie are certified kosher pareve. The reason that these flavors are not kosher certified is that we’ve had difficulty sourcing certified-kosher gluten-free cookies. We are always looking for ways to make all of our products kosher, and we are making progress.
